Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our inspection team. You will conduct vehicle inspections following established procedures and report findings using PDA templates.

You will complete used vehicle condition reports and collaborate with the team to maintain daily site inspections, while engaging with customers to ensure high quality service. Travel to BCA sites within your region is regular, with occasional longer trips as needed.

Qualifications

• An NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• Comprehensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• An understanding of vehicle diagnostics, software updates, and electric/hybrid vehicles (advantageous)
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle inspections following established procedures, reporting findings via a PDA report template
• Complete used vehicle condition reports
• Collaborate with team members to maintain daily site inspections
• Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery
• Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region will be regular, however, travel to further distances will be expected if and when needed
