Job summary

Interaction - York is seeking a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to conduct inspections, report findings, and complete condition reports for used vehicles. You’ll travel to BCA sites within your region, with occasional longer trips as needed.

A NVQ Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and a full UK driving licence are essential; knowledge of diagnostics, software updates and EV/Hybrid systems is advantageous. The role offers an 8:15am-5:45pm schedule (Wed-Sun or Sat-Wed) with a competitive hourly

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 light vehicle maintenance or equivalent.
Solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Understanding of vehicle diagnostics and software updates; EV/Hybrid knowledge advantageous.
Excellent written communication and ability to interact at all levels.
A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle inspections and report findings via a PDA report template.
Complete used vehicle condition reports.
Collaborate with team to maintain daily site inspections.
Engage with customer contacts to ensure high quality service delivery.
Travel to various BCA sites within your agreed region; regular travel, with longer trips as required.
