Job summary

FedEx is seeking a maintenance technician in Stansted to perform scheduled upkeep on GSE and material handling equipment along with HGV vehicles. The role includes logging work, ordering parts, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Good technical knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and basic electricity.
• Autonomous working, curious and self-learning capacities.
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
• Computer literacy and ability to use systems.

Responsibilities

• Launch and execute monthly preventative maintenance repair/work orders for GSE and material handling equipment and HGV Vehicles.
• Create curative repair/work orders for maintenance and execute work for GSE and material handling equipment.
• Launch regulatory inspections as per legal requirements for GSE and workshop equipment.
• Log maintenance carried out on each asset and maintain records in the system.
• Order works to vendors and check proper execution.
• Collect and sign worksheets from vendors and encode in the system.
