Job summary

Tru Talent is recruiting for a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a busy body shop near Liverpool. You will assess vehicle damage, produce repair estimates using Audatex, and work with the workshop team to ensure manufacturer standards are met.

The role offers up to £50,000, 42.5 hours per week, and a benefits package including holiday and bonus scheme. ATA qualification preferred, with NVQ/IMI/SVQ acceptable, and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• ATA Qualified (Preferred), or equivalent qualification (e.g., NVQ, IMI, SVQ)
• Proven experience as Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator / VDA in a fast-paced repair centre
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and industry standards
• Experience using Audatex for estimating and assessments
• Excellent communication skills with customers and ability to maximise profitability
• Team player with commitment to high standards of customer care

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates using Audatex
• Provide accurate assessments and estimates for repairs in line with industry standards
• Maximise profitability by applying professional sales techniques and efficient repair schedules
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing queries promptly
• Collaborate with workshop team to meet manufacturer specifications
• Maintain documentation and comply with industry regulations
• Maximise efficiency and cost control in line with policies and manufacturer requirements
