Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run accident repair centre in Swanwick for a Vehicle Damage Assessor. You will inspect damaged vehicles, prepare detailed Audatex estimates, liaise with customers and insurers, and create job cards for the bodyshop.

This role offers a Monday–Friday week with flexible start times, a company pension, ongoing training, and clear progression routes in a modern workshop.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience with Audatex.
• ATA or NVQ/City & Guilds in vehicle damage assessment preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and customer service focus.

Aufgaben

• Conduct vehicle inspections, mainly via supplied images or on-site assessments.
• Assess the extent of damage, repair costs, and repair timeframes.
• Prepare accurate estimates and maintain detailed records as the Vehicle Damage Assessor.
• Liaise with insurance companies to obtain repair authorisation.
• Communicate repair methodologies effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with the highest technical and quality standards.
• Produce job cards and allocate work to the bodyshop team.

The role of Vehicle Damage Assessor is fundamental to their operation, and they are seeking a highly skilled professional to join their friendly team. The Vehicle Damage Assessor will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, preparing detailed estimates using Audatex, liaising with customers and insurance companies, and creating job cards for the bodyshop. Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or ATA qualification in vehicle damage assessment
• Proven experience with Audatex; Autoflow experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively as theVehicle Damage Assessor
• Full UK/EU driving licence
• Solid Bodyshop background and a keen focus on delivering excellent customer service
• Ability to understand and explain repair processes clearly and professionally
