Job summary

Tru Talent is seeking a Vehicle Damage Assessor/Vehicle Estimator in Wakefield. The role requires strong repair knowledge and a proactive approach to processing claims in a busy body shop. You should hold an apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor with a technical qualification (NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ) and have prior VDA experience.

Audatex proficiency and ATA status are highly desirable for this role. The position offers 45 hours per week, a salary up to £46,000, 30 days holiday and a bonus

Qualifications

• A recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor with a technical qualification (NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ).
• Experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor in a busy body shop.
• Audatex knowledge; ATA status desirable and beneficial.

Vehicle Damage Assessor

Salary: Up to £46,000

Location: Wakefield

Working hours: 45 Hours Monday - Friday

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator to join this leading team.

Qualifications required for a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator:

• You will ideally have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Vehicle Damage Assessor and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA /IMI/ SVQ)
• Youmusthave previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours
• You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques using Audatex
• Must have previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, must have a ATA qualified and ideally have an up to date Audatex certificate

Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Estimator:

• Ensure compliance with supplying partners (Retailer/Dealer/Centre) company policies, manufacturer requirements/agreement and industry guidelines.
