UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is seeking a Vehicle Access and Parking Operations Manager to oversee event transport operations at Wembley Stadium and across the UK & Ireland during UEFA EURO 2028. You will develop transport plans, coordinate with UEFA and venue contacts, and lead vehicle access and parking coordination during tournament time.

Based at Wembley with travel across the UK & Ireland, this fixed-term role requires strong project delivery and stakeholder management skills to ensure parking

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Provide operational leadership to Vehicle Access and Parking Coordinators at venues during Tournament time.

We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and delivery partners to plan and deliver the tournament safely, inclusively and to world-class standards.

About UEFA EURO 2028

UEFA EURO is one of the world’s largest sporting events. In 2028, it will be hosted across multiple cities in the UK & Ireland, requiring large-scale coordination across transport, infrastructure, stadiums and public services. UEFA owns the tournament and sets requirements; UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is responsible for delivering it locally.

The Role

The Vehicle Access and Parking Operations Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of event transport operations at a venue level. Working closely with varied functional areas as well as liaising directly with venue contacts, the Venue Access and Parking Operations Manager will ensure seamless delivery of parking operations and onsite vehicle movement for key client groups including Teams, Referees and Tournament Guests across all nine EURO 2028 match venues.

The Vehicle Access and Parking Operations Manager will act as a key point of contact within the UK and Ireland 2028 Event Transport team for all venue transport matters, working closely with both the Venue Transport Manager and UEFA’s Vehicle Access and Parking Operations Specialist. During Tournament Time the Vehicle Access and Parking Operations Manager will act as the primary escalation point for Vehicle Access and Parking Operations Coordinators at designated match venues.

What you’ll be doing

• Development of Venue Transport Operations Plans for all EURO 2028 match venues.
• Build and maintain key working relationships with UEFA Vehicle Access and Parking Operations Specialist and EURO 2028 match venue points of contact to ensure alignment across all levels of planning.
• Support the processes of procurement, contracting and reconciliation of external parking areas and parking management service providers.
• Work alongside UEFA and UK&I2028 colleagues to develop and implement Vehicle Access and Parking policies and procedures in line with UEFA guidelines and Tournament requirements, ensuring they are clearly communicated, understood and consistently applied by Host City Vehicle Access and Parking Coordinators.
• Coordinate with UK and Ireland 2028 Mobility team and local mobility stakeholders to ensure that all mobility planning, including Local Area Traffic Management Plans are factored into Vehicle Access and Parking Operations planning and vice versa.
• Provide operational leadership and support to Vehicle Access and Parking Coordinators at designated venues during Tournament time, acting as a key point of escalation and providing direction and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate inclusive behaviours that support a respectful, safe and collaborative work environment.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working within an Event Transport environment, preferably within major sports tournaments.
• Previous experience delivering projects to a strict deadline.
• Demonstrable experience of stakeholder and supplier management.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Computer-literate: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
