Job summary

Nomad Foods seeks a proactive Category Manager in Vegetables to drive procurement strategy, optimise costs and quality standards across our vegetable segment. You will manage supplier relationships, harmonise specifications and steer cost-saving initiatives in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

With leadership of a small team, you will collaborate with cross‑functional and regional stakeholders to deliver on time, within budget, and in line with sustainability commitments across Nomad Foods brands.

Qualifications

• Procurement / Category Management experience within an FMCG environment.
• Experience of buying raw materials is essential - with veg preferred.
• Experience of managing and developing a team.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive communication.
• Proven record of delivering cost savings and improving commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Maximise end to end value by optimising supplier base and standardising terms.
• Identify value opportunities with suppliers to sustainably reduce costs.
• Use market intelligence to forecast price trends for negotiations.
