Job summary

Nomad Foods is seeking a proactive Procurement professional to execute the category strategy for ingredients, driving sustainable and ethical sourcing while optimising cost and risk. You will build strong stakeholder relationships across functions and geographies, challenging internal teams and suppliers to deliver against financial targets and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Business or Food Science.
• CIPS or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience in multinational FMCG or food manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation is helpful but not required.
• Strong negotiation, commercial awareness and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers commercial value by optimising the supplier base and standardising terms.
• Leverages market intelligence to forecast price trends and informs negotiations.
• Owns supplier performance, ensuring quality, service and cost adherence.
• Manages supplier relationships with category/subsegment tailoring as needed.
• Drives on-time delivery of procurement actions and project outcomes.
