Nomad Foods Inc is seeking a proactive procurement professional to execute the category strategy for ingredients in a fast-paced, multi-geography environment.

You will optimise supplier bases, harmonise specifications, and drive cost reductions while maintaining quality and sustainability standards. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills are essential, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent, possibly within Business or Food Science.
• CIPS or similar qualification.
• Experience in multinational, commercial organisations of scale, and or within FMCG and Food Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
• Some experience in a procurement function within a matrix organisation would be helpful, but is not necessary.
• Some experience of delivering commercial value through negotiation skills and commercial awareness, either at work or in an alternative setting.
• Experience of working on multi-function, multi-geography and multi-category activities and projects.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills distilling detailed information down into key clear messages.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Commercial Value by optimiser supplier base, harmonising specifications and standardising terms.
• Identifies ways to unlock value with suppliers to sustainably reduce costs.
• Uses market intelligence to forecast price trends and supports negotiations.
• Owns delivery of annual targets for productivity improvements, materials productivity and COGs for the segment.
• Sustainably sources goods and services and defines action plans with the Sustainability Team.
• Proactively de-risks the supply chain by identifying and resolving risks.
• Leads supplier selection, manages relationships and tracks performance against internal policies and laws.
• Drives project outcomes by engaging cross functionally and delivering procurement actions on time.
