Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a VAT Director to lead the VAT practice and manage senior client relationships across industries. You will work with Partners to drive service excellence, commercial performance and sustainable growth.

As a senior leader, you will oversee high-profile engagements, steer business development initiatives and contribute to shaping theVAT offering while mentoring future leaders within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating at Associate Director or Director level.
• Proven track record of winning work and/or unlocking fees from existing client base.
• Ability to develop junior staff and drive a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex VAT advisory matters across diverse industries.
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients and oversee significant client relationships.
• Drive growth of the VAT practice through proactive business development.
• Lead due diligence and manage complex project work with oversight on quality and risk.
• Take accountability for delivery, profitability and portfolio growth.
• Collaborate with Partners to identify cross-service line opportunities.
• Sponsor and develop Associate Directors, Managers and future leaders.
