Pro-Tax is seeking a VAT Manager in our Gatwick office to lead VAT advisory for clients and mentor junior staff. You will serve as the main point of contact for VAT issues, translating complex UK/European indirect tax matters into clear guidance, and you will collaborate with other tax teams to deliver integrated solutions.

The role offers a chance to influence growth, with involvement in prospecting new clients across Sussex and greater London markets, plus exciting marketing initiatives.

Are you a VAT specialist looking for your next challenge where you will be more interactive with your clients? An exciting opportunity has just arisen with a top firm who are seeking a VAT Manager in their expanding and modern Gatwick office.

Working within a team of 10 VAT Specialists you will become the main point of contact for VAT issues and will be a key advisor on behalf of the entire firm breaking down highly technical UK and European indirect tax issues in layman's terms. As part of the VAT team you will support the less experienced VAT executives with their compliance work and will work across the other tax teams as well as keeping the VAT Director and Partner abreast on any developments with new clients. You will also gain the opportunity to take an active involvement in prospecting new clients and networking throughout Sussex and the wider London market to attract new clients as well as embarking on some exciting new marketing initiatives.

To be considered for this rare opportunity which is paying above market rate salary bandings, you will have acquired at least 3 years' experience specifically within VAT or Indirect Tax and preferably on your way to making Senior Manager status. You will have strong technical skills supported by an approachable and friendly manner regarding your client handling skills. In return you will be joining a friendly team environment and will be given the opportunity to further develop your VAT advisory skills with an established international name.
