Job summary

RSM UK in London is seeking a VAT Director to lead our VAT practice, shaping client strategy and delivering high-value advisory services. You will manage key relationships, drive growth, and mentor the team while ensuring technical excellence and exceptional client service.

As a senior leader, you will collaborate with Partners to drive strategic growth, sponsor talent development, and promote innovation across the VAT offering.

Qualifications

• Experience at Associate Director or Director level.
• Proven ability to win work and unlock fees from clients.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior staff and build a VAT team.
• Strong business development and client management skills.
• Sharp commercial mindset with targets to meet.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead on complex VAT advisory matters and provide strategic advice across industries.
• Manage significant client relationships and drive service excellence.
• Grow the VAT practice through proactive business development and new opportunities.
• Oversee projects with quality, risk, and profitability oversight.
• Deliver and grow a substantial client portfolio with sustainable fees.
