You'll be responsible for owning our social media channels on behalf of Nottingham College, co‑ordinating an annual calendar of organic and paid activity to our audiences of students, parents, employers and external stakeholders. This includes LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat and other emerging channels. Working within the Marketing & Communications department, you'll lead on creating engaging content, growing our online communities and ensuring our channel support the College's recruitment, reputation and student engagement goals.

We're looking for someone who is on the pulse of social media trends, platform changes and audience behaviours - including influence of AI - and using insight to inform channel strategy, and campaign activity, effectively as the department’s channel expert.
We know the Under 16s social media ban is going to have a significant impact on our marketing to prospective students, so this individual should beconfident in experimentation, pivoting their approach and adept at spotting what is working, quickly.
While experience within FE is not essential, you should be a hard‑working, creative anddriven professional who has proven experience with achieving excellent social media campaign results which have generated tangible impact.
