Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a skilled Vehicle Technician to service, maintain, and repair vans and light commercial vehicles at our client’s nationwide sites. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to manufacturer guidelines within a stable, Monday–Friday schedule.

You will diagnose faults with modern equipment, prepare vehicles for MOT, and complete accurate service records while maintaining a clean, safe workshop environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ/City & Guilds qualification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic.
• Proficient diagnostic skills.
• Experience with vans or light commercial vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
