Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a Drainage Engineer – Van Pack for its Southern Water contract in Millbrook, Hampshire. This permanent, full‑time role involves 45 hours per week, travelling to residential sites to operate high‑pressure water jets and restore drainage systems.

You'll deliver excellent customer service, follow health & safety protocols, and work unsupervised in all weather. VISTEC and Salesforce are used on site to report and manage work.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to residential sites and work in a van.
• Delivering good customer service to clients and stakeholders.
• Adhere to PPE, safe site setups and health & safety responsibilities.
• Ability to use VISTEC and Salesforce platforms on site.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential sites in a van to operate a high‑pressure water jet for restoration.
• Clean and maintain drainage systems to restore function.
• Record each job on the specialist equipment provided.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains as required.
• Liaise with the client regarding progress and updates.
• Maintain vehicle stock and ensure PPE compliance on site.
