Job summary

TheRecruitmentCrowd, on behalf of TRCGroup, is seeking reliable Van Drivers in the Tyneside area to join the team. You will handle residential and commercial deliveries with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Shifts are across Monday to Sunday, 08:00 starts. Pay is £12.71 per hour PAYE, with a Temp to Perm pathway. A valid UK driving licence and DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) are required, along with strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence.
• 1 year of multi-drop delivery experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload packages.
• Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a van to deliver to residential and commercial customers.
• 80+ stops per day.
• Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
• Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
