Job summary

Phoenix Medical Supplies in Newcastle is seeking a Multi-drop Delivery Driver to load, check and deliver customer orders on fixed routes using handheld proof-of-delivery devices. You will ensure products are transported at correct temperatures and kept clean and secure.

We require a full UK driving licence, proven multi-drop experience and good communication. The role is Monday to Friday with Saturday shifts, and benefits include health cash plans and a contributory pension.

Responsibilities

• Check, load and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes.

• Carry out safety checks on the vehicle and equipment.
• Stand/walk most of the shift; lift up to 15 kg, bend, twist, kneel and crouch.

Job description

Multi-drop Delivery Driver Newcastle based Average of 49.5 hours, over a 17-week referencing period. Working Monday to Friday for 9 hours a day, with 4.5 hours on a Saturday £13.45 per hour

The heart of the role

• Check, load, and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes utilising Asset Tracking Devices.


• Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and security.


• Represent the company professionally as a visible face to customers and the public.


• Carry out all required safety checks on your allocated vehicle and equipment.


• In this role you will be required to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (products up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
