Job summary

CDS Labour (Group UK) Ltd is recruiting reliable van drivers for early-morning deliveries across the South West, with competitive pay and regular weekly PAYE earnings.

Open to experienced drivers and newly qualified, the role offers 4:00am starts, accommodation if needed, and a supportive recruitment team to help you settle into ongoing shifts and a bonus scheme. You will load and unload, check paperwork, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while delivering to customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Comfortable with early morning starts.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen foods safely to customers across the South West.
• Complete early-morning deliveries starting from 4:00am.

About the Role

CDS Labour is currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Van Drivers to join a well-established foodservice business delivering fresh and frozen food products to customers across the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay and the opportunity to earn additional money through a weekly bonus scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen food products safely and efficiently to customers across the South West.
• Complete early-morning deliveries, with start times from approximately 4:00am.
• Load and unload the vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Check delivery paperwork and ensure all deliveries are completed accurately.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.
• Follow all company health, safety and food-handling procedures.
• Ensure goods are transported and delivered in the correct condition.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
• Be reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Be comfortable working early mornings.
• Have a professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Be physically capable of loading and unloading food products.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to follow delivery instructions.

Previous van driving or delivery experience is an advantage, but newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

Working Hours

Early starts are required, with shifts beginning from approximately 4:00am. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available, depending on business requirements.
