Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a van driver for nationwide deliveries with early starts and long shifts. Expect 4–8 drops per shift, heavy goods handling with full equipment, and a double-manned team when required.

This temp-to-perm opportunity offers shifts from 4am to 6am, 10–12 hours, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of commercial van driving experience.
• No more than 3 points on your driving licence.
• Positive attitude and ability to work solo or in a double-manned team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods across the UK with early starts and 4–8 drops per shift.
• Handle heavy goods with full equipment; double-manned team when required.
• Start times 4am–6am; shifts 10–12 hours; Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays.

Job Description

Early starts and early finishes for van drivers, decent amount of hours, earn up to £825 per week

You will be delivering goods across the UK with early starts but early finishes perfect for enjoying sunny afternoons after work!

You will be expected to deliver goods in a timely manner – this is not a multidrop position however, you can expect between 4-8 drops per shift. The distance travelled is the reason for the early starts.

You should be comfortable with handling heavy goods although you will be provided with full equipment and working on a double manned team if handling heavy goods.

Duration: Genuine temp to perm opportunity for the right driver

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £13.75 per hourYou accrue holiday up to 28 days pro rata.We do not offer Visa sponsorships

Working Hours: Start times will be between 4am and 6am. Shifts are 10-12 hours roughlyThis is a Monday to Friday position with occasional Saturdays available (and optional).

Experience & Qualifications
