Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking reliable Van Drivers for UK-wide deliveries with early starts. You will deliver goods across the UK, handling 4-8 drops per shift and not performing multi-drop tasks. Shifts start early, typically 4am–6am, and run 10–12 hours, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

You must have at least 1 year of van driving experience and no more than 3 points on your licence, be comfortable with heavy goods, and expect to work either solo or in a double manned team when required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial van driving experience required.
• No more than 3 points on your driving licence.
• Willingness to work solo or in a double manned team as needed.

Job Description

Weekly pay for Van Drivers – work starting immedaitely

You will be delivering goods across the UK with early starts but early finishes perfect for enjoying sunny afternoons after work!

You will be expected to deliver goods in a timely manner – this is not a multidrop position however, you can expect between 4-8 drops per shift. The distance travelled is the reason for the early starts.

You should be comfortable with handling heavy goods although you will be provided with full equipment and working on a double manned team if handling heavy goods.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £13.25 per hourYou accrue holiday up to 28 days pro rata.We do not offer Visa sponsorships

Working Hours: Start times will be between 4am and 6am. Shifts are 10-12 hours roughlyThis is a Monday to Friday position with occasional Saturdays available (and optional).

Experience & Qualifications

• To drive a car or motorcycle – this is because of the client’s location.
• A minimum of 1 years’ commercial van driving experience
• No more than 3 points on your driving licence
• A positive attitude and to be happy to work either solo or as part of a double manned team (depending on the nature of the goods being delivered)
