Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Dartford, Kent is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to deliver IKEA furniture across London, including central areas, ensuring high standards of care and service.

The role is full-time with a 48-hour week on a pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off, starting at 5:00am from an 8-week rota. Benefits include a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, plus discounts and wellbeing programmes.

Qualifications

• A valid driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Reliable, with good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to lift/move items as required.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customers’ homes with care, professionalism and great service—represent GXO and IKEA.
• Conduct multi-drop deliveries (single or two-person teams).
• Drive throughout London, including Central London.
• Ensure vehicle and stock are properly secured.
• Perform vehicle checks at start and end of journeys; report defects.

This is a full time, permanent role you will be working48 hoursper week on a shift pattern of5 days on, 3 days offover an8-week rota with start time of 5:00am.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Working as a Van Driver you’ll be delivering to customers’ homes with care, professionalism and great service — representing GXO and IKEA
• Multi drop deliveries vary between single person and 2 person team
• Driving throughout the London area, including Central London
• Ensuring vehicle and stock is properly secured
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid driving licence (max 6 points)
• Reliability, good communication and teamwork
• Physical capability to lift/move items
• Multi ‑ drop experience is useful but not essential
