Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Harlow (CM19 5GU) seeks an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a full-time, permanent role in our Home Delivery team. You'll work any 5 of 7 days, 06:00 start, 48 hours per week, with a competitive annual salary of £48,192.58 and CPC training.

You’ll perform multidrop deliveries to customer premises, keep accurate driving time records on Tachomaster and Digital Tachograph, and ensure correct products and delivery docs reach customers while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous multidrop delivery experience preferred.
• Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement; CPC up-to-date.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence; DBS disclosure willingness.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph up-to-date.
• Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal.
• Be prepared to commute to Harlow (CM19 5GU) for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Delivering stock to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using Tachomaster and manual entries.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receives correct products and delivery documentation.
• Keep customers informed of their ETA and communicate issues politely.

Here at GXO, we’re working together with B&Q and are looking for highly experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Home Delivery team in Harlow (CM19 5GU).

You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, any 5 of 7 days, with a start time at 06:00, contracted to 48 hours per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Delivering stock to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communication with in a polite and courteous manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in multidrop, store deliveries preferable but not essential
• A full UK driving licence with category C Entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
• Be prepared to commute to Harlow (CM19 5GU) for the required shift pattern
