Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Greenford is recruiting 3.5 ton Van Drivers to join our team, delivering for Waitrose and supporting a fast-paced supply chain.

Choose full- or part-time patterns (2–5 days/week) with shifts from early morning to early afternoon. Basic pay £15.07 per hour, with potential to earn up to £16.00 hourly via bonus. Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence, >6 months
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Excellent communication and ability to work on your own initiative
• Willingness to work unsocial hours and weekends

Responsibilities

• Safely complete multi-drop deliveries, typically 20+ drops per day
• Complete all delivery-related tasks and handle returns
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Deliver high-quality customer service to Waitrose customers
• Meet delivery KPIs and quality standards

At GXO, we recognise that it’s our people that help keep the nation moving so due to continued growth, were looking for 3.5 ton Van Drivers to join our team in Greenford, working with our customer,Waitrose.

Choose a working pattern that suits you!

We offer both full- time and part- time positions with the flexibility to work 2-5 days per week.

Available shift start times are:

• Mornings 04:30- 07:00
• Afternoon 12:00- 14:00

As a Van Driver, you’ll receive:

• A basic salary of £15.07 per hour

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely and efficiently complete multi-drop deliveries, typically serving 20+ customers per day
• Accurately complete all delivery-related tasks, including managing customer returns and reporting discrepancies
• Maintain high standards of vehicle care by conducting daily checks, following defect-reporting procedures, and operating the vehicle safely, legally and economically at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service to Waitrose customers at their doorstep, representing the brand with professionalism and personality
• Consistently meet delivery performance targets in line with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK manual driving licence, older than 6 months
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no T, IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
• Work flexibly to support business needs, including unsocial hours and weekend shifts
