Greencore Group in Exeter is recruiting a driver for our distribution centre, delivering fresh stock to major retailers across the region.

You will work five days a week starting 3–6am, with Saturdays mandatory and no Sunday work. A full UK driving license with up to 6 points is required.

Job description

Shift Times: 3-6am Start Time

Pay Rate: £14.60 Per Hour (+ £1.15 for any hours worked between 10pm and 6am)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday with a rolling rest day

Overtime: Overtime Premium are payable after 42 hours at time and a quarter

Workload: On average between 20 to 30 drops per day

All routes are planned in with a run time between 8 to 12 hours long.

Exeter

Our Distribution Centre in Exeter is a major Driving depot, employing more than 50 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 40 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.

What you'll be doing:

From the simple sandwich to a range of chilled foods, our customers need fresh stock daily and you could be part of our nationwide team making some of those 3.5 million deliveries each year and keeping Britain fed. You would be expected to work five days per week, which would include mandatory Saturdays. With this shift pattern there will be no Sunday work and working day off as well on rotation. On-the-job training is provided and you will be partnered up with another team member to start with.
