Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Line Leader A shift PM to manage a production team on Sundays to Thursdays, 17:00–00:30, at Carr Green, Greater Manchester. The role focuses on leading output, maintaining safety, and ensuring right-first-time quality in a fast-paced chilled environment.

You will oversee deliveries, stock checks, and compliance, while coaching team members to multi-skill and improve processes. A competitive package accompanies this shift position.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering a production plan and meeting KPIs.

• Understanding of safety, quality and process improvements.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: £14.89 per hour

What you'll be doing

Working within an exciting and fast-paced environment, you will be a key member of our high-risk team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling, and lifting involved. Tasks will include:

• Work as part of a team in a chilled and noisy environment.
• Leading a team of people to achieve daily production goals.
• Using initiative for problem solving and escalating appropriately.
• Following instructions carefully.
• Working unsupervised, completing compliance checks.
• Having a keen eye for detail to ensure a right first-time approach.
• Working with manufacturing equipment.
• Standing for long periods, working in chilled environment, and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Receiving deliveries from suppliers and checking goods against delivery notes.
• Checking all goods into the system as a priority.
• Familiarity with all products and warehouse locations.
• Reporting shortages to the manager immediately.
• Being aware of minimum and maximum stock levels.
• Ensuring returned items are recorded correctly to maintain accurate stock levels.
