Job summary

ESS Employment Limited is seeking a Delivery Driver (B1 Licence) to join a hospitality-focused team. You will travel across the UK delivering equipment and consumables, and you’ll update systems while tracking delivery KPIs. You’ll also help with stock checks and serve as a frontline ambassador to customers.

The role is full-time on a temp-to-perm basis, with a company pension, overtime and a bonus scheme, plus free onsite parking. A positive, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• B1 licence with less than 6 points required.

VACANCY - VAN DRIVER (B1 Licence)

ESS Employment Limited are seeking a Delivery Driver (B1 Licence) for an established and successful hospitality company. The successful candidate must be willing to drive to various areas in the UK.

Duties include:

• Delivering equipment and consumables
• Responsible for ensuring stock and consumables levels are maintained with customers
• Updating relevant systems with information on deliveries and activities, tracking all KPIs.
• On return to the warehouse take undelivered goods to the relevant area
• Capable of lifting up to 40kg
• To be part of the multi skilled driving team, offering a high level of service to customers
• To be aware of, and as flexible as possible, to accommodate each customer’s specific requirements
• To be a front line “ambassador” of the company at all times, both with the customers and other members of the public.

Key Responsibilities:

• To adhere to all ISO9000, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies and Procedures
• To respect company vehicles and always drive within the law
• To communicate problems, queries and customer requests promptly and in accordance with the line of communication issued
• To collect cash or cheques from customers when requested, not leaving goods where payment is not available without prior permission of a Manager or senior member of staff
• To be responsible for the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times
