Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our client in Huntingdon. The role involves driving company vans between premises, performing daily vehicle checks and ensuring health and safety policies are followed.

You will prepare vans for hire, including valeting and inspection, and undertake other duties as requested by management. The ideal candidate has a full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, good local route knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

• Physically fit and able to lift/carry products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our client.

Key responsibilities

• Driving company vans to and from premises.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects. (Including correct manufacturers service intervals are adhered to)
• Ensure that the company s health and safety policy and procedures are adhered to in relation to all operations.
• Follow company s Employee handbook policies and procedures.
• Prepare vans for hire, including the valeting, testing and inspecting of welfare vans
• Any other duties requested by your Manager

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points).
• Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred but not essential.
• Good knowledge of local routes and road safety.
• Physically fit, able to lift and carry products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
