Job summary

The Best Connection is currently seeking a Van Driver for furniture delivery in Dartford and surrounding areas. You will deliver mainly flat-pack furniture to customers’ homes across London and the M25, starting early with 5:30am shifts and loading your own van each day.

The role offers 5 days on / 3 days off, approx. 10-hour shifts, and potential temp-to-perm opportunities. Training is provided and part-time options may be considered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Early starts required.
• Physically fit and able to handle furniture.
• Confident driving around London and the M25.

The Best Connection are currently looking for Van Drivers on behalf of our client in Dartford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular work, a great shift pattern and the chance to work independently.

The Job

• £14.75 per hour
• 5 days on / 3 days off
• Approx. 10-hour shifts
• 5:30am starts
• Electric vans
• Temp-to-perm opportunities
• Training provided
• Part-time availability may be considered

You'll be delivering furniture, mainly flat-pack, to customers' homes across London, the M25 and surrounding areas.

Deliveries are planned for you based on weight and distance, so your route is organised before you head out.

You'll load your own van at the start of the day before setting off. After that, you have the freedom to manage your own day and work through your allocated route.

The role involves a mixture of 1-man and 2-man deliveries, depending on the furniture and delivery requirements.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for reliable and hardworking drivers who:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Are comfortable with early starts
• Are physically fit and happy handling furniture
• Are confident driving around London and the M25
• Have a professional and friendly attitude
• Are comfortable working independently

Previous delivery experience is useful, but training can be provided for the right candidates.
