Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking reliable van drivers for immediate start in Dartford. The role involves delivering furniture across London, the M25 and surrounding areas, with early starts and 10-hour shifts. Temporary-to-permanent opportunities and training provided.

You will load your own van at the start and manage your route, sometimes as part of a 2-man team or solo. Part-time options may be considered depending on workload.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
• Ability to start early shifts.
• Physically able to lift and handle furniture.
• Confident navigating London and the M25.
• Professional and friendly attitude; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers' homes, mainly flat-pack items.
• Load your van at the start of the day and manage your route.
• Plan and follow a delivery route, with some 2-man jobs possible.
• Work on a shift pattern and complete allocated deliveries.
• Assist with loading/unloading at customers' premises when required.

DRIVERS WANTED - IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE

The Best Connection are currently looking for Van Drivers on behalf of our client in Dartford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular work, a great shift pattern and the chance to work independently.

The Job

• £14.75 per hour
• 5 days on / 3 days off
• Approx. 10-hour shifts
• 5:30am starts
• Temp-to-perm opportunities
• Training provided
• Part-time availability may be considered

You'll be delivering furniture, mainly flat-pack, to customers' homes across London, the M25 and surrounding areas.

Deliveries are planned for you based on weight and distance, so your route is organised before you head out.

You'll load your own van at the start of the day before setting off. After that, you have the freedom to manage your own day and work through your allocated route.

The role involves a mixture of 1-man and 2-man deliveries, depending on the furniture and delivery requirements.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for reliable and hardworking drivers who:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Are comfortable with early starts
• Are physically fit and happy handling furniture
• Are confident driving around London and the M25
• Have a professional and friendly attitude
• Are comfortable working independently

Previous delivery experience is useful, but training can be provided for the right candidates.
