Job summary

Lords Builders Merchants in Kings Langley is looking for a reliable Van Driver to join the team. The role involves delivering building materials in a 3.5t dropside vehicle and supporting the branch to ensure excellent service for customers.

You will deliver to the local area, load and unload safely, perform vehicle checks, maintain paperwork and contribute to branch duties as required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a delivery driving role, ideally within builders' merchants or a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers across the local area.
• Picking orders and loading and unloading your vehicle safely and accurately.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and reporting returns, shortages or discrepancies.
• Collecting payments where required in line with company procedures.
• Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Providing outstanding customer service and representing Lords professionally at every delivery.
• Following all road traffic legislation, company driving policies and Health & Safety procedures.
• Supporting stock movement and assisting with general branch duties when required.

Are you a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver looking to join a friendly, hardworking team? Do you enjoy being out on the

road, providing excellent service and playing an important part in a busy branch? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for a Van Driver to join our Kings Langley branch. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for

delivering building materials safely and efficiently in a 3.5t dropside vehicle, while supporting the wider branch team to ensure

excellent service for our customers.
