Job summary

Pertemps Heathrow is seeking a reliable Van Driver based in Watford to join a busy delivery operation. You will drive a Luton box van, start early each day, and handle 15–20 stops per shift across the south of England with occasional London trips.

Ideal candidates have a valid UK licence, some Luton van experience, and a readiness for early starts. A strong focus on safety, time management, and customer service will be essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Experience driving a Luton box van is preferred.
• Comfortable with early morning starts.
• Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Physical fitness for some manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Luton box van to deliver goods to customers.
• Start around 5:00 am and complete 15–20 deliveries per shift.
• Deliver across the south of England, with occasional runs into London.
• Load and unload as required and maintain vehicle safety checks.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point.
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure timely, safe deliveries.

We're currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join a busy and growing operation based in Watford.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road and is looking for consistent, full-time work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

• Driving a Luton box van to deliver goods to customers.
• Starting at 5:00 am each day.
• Completing approximately 15‑20 deliveries per shift.
• Delivering across the south of England, with occasional runs into London.
• Loading and unloading your vehicle where required.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point.
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are made safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Previous experience driving a Luton box van is preferred.
• Comfortable with early morning starts.
• Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations.
• A positive attitude with excellent time management skills.
• Physically fit, as some manual handling will be required.
