Job summary

Cats Protection in the UK is seeking a Van Driver for our Retail team, covering the South East including London. The role is 14 hours on a rota basis, including weekends, with permanent contract.

You will move goods across the retail estate, supervise volunteers on the van, and represent the charity's values. A full UK driving licence, van driving experience, and strong time-management skills are required; the role offers health benefits and generous leave.

Salary: Up to £9,345.68 per annum (+£724 London Weighting Allowance)
Contract: Permanent

About the retail team

• Our retail operation consists of over 80 charity shops
• Each of our shops has its own charm and personality due to our dedicated volunteers and colleagues. From vintage jewelry and jigsaws to harps and handbags, whether our customers are looking for that “must have” item or simply a “missing piece”.

What we’re looking for in our Van Driver

• Experience of driving a commercial van (manual), and using satellite navigation equipment
• An awareness of health and safety procedures and manual handling
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Flexibility to travel within the region as required
• Hold a full UK driving license
