Job summary

Cats Protection in the United Kingdom is seeking a Van Driver to support the movement of goods across the retail estate. The role includes supervising volunteers, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, and acting as a brand ambassador for the charity.

The position is part of the Retail team in the South East Region (including London). You will be part of a dedicated network helping cats and people in our care, with weekend coverage and a rota-based schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience of driving a commercial van (manual) and using satellite navigation equipment.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures and manual handling.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities of our Van Driver

About the retail team

• Our retail operation consists of over 80 charity shops
• Each of our shops has its own charm and personality due to our dedicated volunteers and colleagues. From vintage jewelry and jigsaws to harps and handbags, whether our customers are looking for that 'must have' item or simply a 'missing piece'.
