Job summary

Cats Protection in the UK is seeking a Van Driver for our Retail team, covering the South East including London. The role is 14 hours on a rota basis, including weekends, with permanent contract.

You will move goods across the retail estate, supervise volunteers on the van, and represent the charity's values. A full UK driving licence, van driving experience, and strong time-management skills are required; the role offers health benefits and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Experience of driving a commercial van (manual).
• Awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• To enable the safe and timely movement of goods across the Cats Protection retail estate.
• To supervise the volunteers who are assisting on the van, ensuring they operate within health and safety guidelines.
• To act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, being a role model for the values and behaviour’s of the charity.
