Job summary

Adecco Romford & London East is seeking a dependable Van Driver to join a team operating across London and surrounding areas. You will collect non-hazardous waste materials from multiple sites, driving a company van and using a tablet to manage daily jobs and routes.

The role offers £14 per hour plus holiday pay and benefits, with a temporary, full-time contract and potential for Temp-to-Perm. Apply to join a driven team at our Waltham Abbey depot.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• Confident driving a manual diesel van.
• Good knowledge of London road networks.
• Comfortable using a tablet or mobile technology.
• Reliable, organised and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Drive company manual diesel van to various locations across London and surrounding areas.
• Collect waste materials such as kitchen units, bath panels and refurbishment waste.
• Transport collected waste to skips in Waltham Abbey or Erith, or to disposal facilities.
• Use a company tablet to manage daily jobs, routes and collection information.
• Complete vehicle checks and ensure safety and efficiency of collections.

Locations: London and surrounding areas

Are you a reliable driver who enjoys being on the road and working independently? Adecco Romford & London East are looking for a Van Driver to join a team, collecting non-hazardous waste materials from multiple sites across London and the surrounding areas.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Driving a company manual diesel van to various locations


• Collecting waste materials such as kitchen units, bath panels and general refurbishment waste


• Transporting collected waste to our skips in Waltham Abbey or Erith, or to authorised waste disposal facilities


• Using a company tablet to manage daily jobs, routes and collection information


• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring collections are carried out safely and efficiently

What We\'re Looking For

• Full, clean UK driving licence


• Confident driving a manual diesel van


• Good knowledge of London road networks


• Comfortable using a tablet or mobile technology


• Reliable, organised and self-motivated


• Good customer service and communication skills
