Job summary

Mencap in Derby is hiring a full-time Van Driver to join our friendly team. The role is 37.5 hours per week with extensive travel, moving and collecting stock across sites.

You will support the area team, cover at other stores, travel to meetings and training, and may undertake occasional long journeys with overnight stays (expenses paid). A basic DBS check is required and there is occasional out-of-hours call cover.

Qualifications

• Flexible working hours including Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays as appropriate.
• Willingness to travel to other stores and cover area team duties.
• Ability to lift items of various sizes and weights.
• Basic DBS (Criminal Record) check is required.
• Access to a telephone to provide out-of-hours emergency call cover.

Job Requirements
