Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a talented LCV Driver to join our team in Crawley to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites while maintaining high service standards.

You will drive light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, perform vehicle safety checks, load and unload goods, and communicate with customers on-site. We value safety, reliability, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a driving license category B with no more than 6 points.
• Proactive approach to safety of company vehicles and other drivers.
• Polite manner when visiting customer premises.
• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Geographical knowledge and LCV experience.
• Ability to use IT systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods.
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before journeys, and safe loading/unloading of loads.
• Visiting customer locations and communicating with internal and external customers.

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented LCV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
