Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a friendly LCV Driver to join our Crawley team, delivering and collecting from customer sites on time and to high standards.

You will operate vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, perform safety checks, load/unload loads with care, and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications

• Minimum of B category driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Proactive safety approach for company vehicles and other drivers.
• Polite manner when visiting customer premises.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Geographical knowledge relevant to service area.
• IT systems familiarity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes for goods transport.
• Ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness before journeys and secure loads.
• Visit customer sites and communicate with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to legal and company safety requirements and working time rules.

About The Role

Are you ready to be a part of our rapidly developing business. We are looking for a talented LCV Driver to join our team to ensure timely collection and deliveries from customer sites whilst consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

What will you be doing?

• Operating light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes for transportation of goods
• Ensuring the vehicle is safe and roadworthy before commencing any journey, as well as the safe loading, unloading and security of the vehicle load
• Visiting customer locations, communicating with both internal and external customers
• Ensuring that the legal and company safety requirements, alongside the working time directive regulations are adhered to at all times
