Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for Van Drivers to work with clients across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible shift patterns, weekly pay, and access to temporary, ongoing and ad-hoc assignments across multiple sectors.

You will complete multi-drop deliveries, load/unload goods, and deliver to business and residential customers while providing excellent customer service and following planned routes. A full UK Category B driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Category B) held for at least 2 years.
• Experience driving vans and handling deliveries preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries.
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Delivering to business and residential customers.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting issues.
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with procedures.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to work with a variety of clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, flexible working opportunities, and access to a variety of temporary, ongoing and ad-hoc assignments across multiple industry sectors.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver andCourier Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.50 per hour
• Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

• Various shift patterns available
• Monday to Friday and weekend opportunities may be available depending on the client
• Temporary, ongoing and ad-hoc assignments available

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Van Driver are:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading goods
• Delivering to business and residential customers
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules
• Providing excellent customer serviceUndertaking general driving and delivery duties as required
• Ensuring compliance with road traffic regulations and company procedures

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

• A full UK Category B driving licence
• Previous van driving experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Flexibility regarding working hours and duties
• The ability to load and unload goods safely
• The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively

Training:

• Full paid induction provided where required
• Ongoing support from the People Solutions team
• Client-specific training provided where applicable
