Job summary

The Best Connection Group are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join DHL Express at their Cookstown site.

You will drive vans, perform vehicle checks, and ensure accurate delivery records while delivering excellent customer service at multiple stops. This is a full-time role with overtime after 45 hours, weekly pay, and full training. Airport security clearance and a 5-year background history are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience)
• Criminal record check paid by us
• Have a 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 5-year address history
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

• Maintain accurate records and proof of delivery or collection

• Driving vans to and from Belfast City Airport
• Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems
• Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Following all airport security procedures

Requirements:

• As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must:
• Pass a van driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)
• Complete a criminal record check (paid for by us)
• Have a 5-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference)
• Provide a 5-year address history
• Have valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card)

Licence/Certification:

• Full UK Driving Licence, Category B Licence
• A current Aviation Security certificate (formerly Level D), or willingness to complete the course during vetting (paid for by us)
