Job summary

A leading provider of drainage solutions in Sheffield is seeking a CCTV Engineer to support their expanding workload. This role involves using CCTV equipment to inspect underground piping and report any damages. Key requirements include a full UK driving licence and IT skills, especially in Excel. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate CCTV equipment to inspect the condition of underground pipes.
• Access pipes via manhole covers and set up the CCTV camera precision.
• Conduct most work remotely from a van equipped with necessary technology.
• Keep accurate records using a tablet and report results to clients.

About the Role:

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Engineer to manage our increased workload to our growing network.

• Location: Sheffield
• Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
• Salary: Up to £16 per hour depending on experience

The job:

• You will use the CCTV equipment tomeasure the heights anddepths of the pipe, as well as to check for anydamagesthat needsto be recorded i.e. debris in the pipe or grease build up.
• Initially the role will involve, you accessing the pipe via manhole covers to put the CCTV camera down the pipe with accuracy.
• You will then carry out majority of the work from your van which has been installed with the CCTV and computer system for you to carry out the work.
• You will be using a tablet to keep records of the work you are carrying out which involves crucial paperwork to be carried out as this needs to be reporting back to the clients you are carrying out the work on behalf of.

Key skills required:

• Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to work in a 2 person team
• IT skills including Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• OX19 Preferrable
• CSCS Card Preferrable
