Job summary

The Lanes Group is seeking a CCTV Engineer to manage the growing workload across our network in Plymouth. The role involves mounting CCTV equipment via manhole covers, recording pipe conditions, and reporting work via tablet and onboard systems. You will primarily work from a van equipped with CCTV and computer setup.

We offer 21 days holiday + bank holidays, Life Assurance, pension, PPE, and free onsite parking. Flexibility is required, with potential early starts and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to work in a 2 person team.
• IT skills including Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• OX19 Preferrable
• CSCS Card Preferrable

Responsibilities

• You will use the CCTV equipment to measure the heights and depths of the pipe, as well as to check for any damages that need to be recorded i.e. debris in the pipe or grease build up.
• Initially the role will involve, you accessing the pipe via manhole covers to put the CCTV camera down the pipe with accuracy.
• You will then carry out majority of the work from your van which has been installed with the CCTV and computer system for you to carry out the work.
• You will be using a tablet to keep records of the work you are carrying out which involves crucial paperwork to be carried out as this needs to be reporting back to the clients you are carrying out the work on behalf of.

About the Role:

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Engineer to manage our increased workload to our growing network.

• Location: Plymouth
• Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
• Salary: £14.50-£15.50ph doe
