Job summary

Rubix UKII is seeking an engineer to produce and repair valve assemblies, using a range of machining and cleaning equipment. You will read engineering drawings, measure parts, and sign off on quality certificates while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role emphasizes training, PPE use, and adherence to ISO-based procedures. You will work on-site in a collaborative environment, supporting continuous improvement and reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in production and repair of valve assemblies and familiarity with training/competency sign-off.
  • Maintaining accurate production records, test certificates and signoffs.
  • Adherence to quality management systems and health & safety policies.
  • Willingness to undertake training and develop skills on equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Production and repair of valve assemblies using various equipment subject to training/competency sign-off.
  • Operate lathe, milling machine, valve test rigs, ultrasonic cleaner, shot blaster and other tools.
  • Read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment to verify parts.
  • Maintain housekeeping, follow risk assessments and wear PPE as required.
  • Keep tools and equipment organized and in good condition.
  • Attend training courses assigned by management.
