Job summary

Crane Co. is recruiting a Value Stream Supervisor to drive the execution and delivery of the order book.

You will plan, release work orders, remove roadblocks, and ensure orders are produced on time and to the right quality, while adhering to safety standards. You will lead teams, optimise Kanban and MRP processes, and collaborate across manufacturing, engineering and quality to meet OTD targets and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in first line management and supervision.
• Formal qualification in managing safely (IOSH).
• Strong understanding of work scheduling systems such as Kan Ban or WOs.
• Working knowledge of an MRP system (QAD) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the daily manufacturing plan in line with Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Growth targets.
• Lead and motivate teams to achieve value stream targets, ensuring 5S compliance.
• Carry out root cause analysis and implement corrective actions when issues arise.
• Use QAD to prepare and align production plans with manufacturing to meet customer delivery.
• Monitor SQDCG KPI information daily and drive improvements.
• Ensure BoM and drawing issues are resolved with engineering and supply chain.
• Develop and implement an appropriate labour plan to meet plans.
