Job summary

Crane Building Services and Utilities (BSU) is seeking a capable Value Stream Supervisor to ensure the order book is executed to meet customer demand. You will plan and release work orders and remove roadblocks to deliver on time and to the required quality.

Reporting to the Value Stream Supervisor, you will lead teams, drive improvements using the QAD system and ensure compliance with 5S and ISO 16949 tools across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Formal management qualification (level 2 NVQ or equivalent) in supervision/leadership.
• Must have IOSH or other safety management qualification.
• Good understanding of work scheduling systems used in manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, preferably QAD.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily manufacturing plan aligned with Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Growth targets.
• Lead and motivate teams to meet value stream and business targets, maintain 5S practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Utilise QAD to align production plans with customer delivery and KPI tracking.
