FBC UK in Batley is seeking a Value Stream Leader to steer a multi-skilled manufacturing team. You will deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production, while driving OEE, cost savings and continuous improvement across the line.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead KPI reviews, support new product introductions and mentor staff toward career growth, ensuring GMP and food safety are embedded in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multi-skilled manufacturing team to deliver safe, efficient production.
• Proven ability to improve KPIs, cost efficiency and process capability.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a multi-skilled operations team to deliver tonnage, OEE and waste targets.
• Own attendance, absence reviews and performance appraisals for the team.
• Ensure GMP and food safety standards are practiced and audited daily.
• Depurpose for manufacturing lead during holidays and cover other VSLs as needed.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and productivity improvements in collaboration with the Ops Development team.
• Support launches and optimisation of new product introductions (NPD).
• Lead daily KPI reviews and action top issues to drive long-term fixes.
