Job Description:

We are currently working with a leading UK Accounting firm who are looking to hire a Valuations Assistant Manager for their Birmingham Office. The firm have demonstrated exceptional performance over the last two years, this continued success has significantly impacted their Valuations team, which has grown substantially, and are now looking to add another at the Assistant Manager level. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to step up or continue developing in a high-performing, collaborative, and fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver a broad range of valuation engagements for financial reporting, transaction support, and strategic decision-making purposes.
• Support senior team members in developing valuation models, including DCF, market multiples, and option pricing methods.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across audit, tax, and corporate finance to provide integrated solutions to clients.
• Conduct industry and company research to support valuation analysis and prepare client deliverables.
• Mentor and review the work of junior staff, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.
• Assist in business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in Valuations Advisory
• Strong technical valuation skills, including proficiency in Excel modelling and familiarity with relevant accounting and valuation standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
• A proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
