Job summary

Homes England is seeking a Chartered Surveyor to lead valuation and appraisal activities within the Valuation and Appraisals team. You will support development appraisals, Red Book valuations, and specialist input to government priorities across England, ensuring value for money and delivery of housing and regeneration projects.

Qualifications

• Chartered Surveyor with development sector experience.
• Proficient in development appraisal techniques using Excel and industry software.
• Ability to think strategically, yet detail‑oriented and diplomatic.

Responsibilities

• Project support and peer review of valuations and appraisals for a range of development projects.
• Prepare development appraisals and Red Book valuations for internal purposes.
• Provide specialist input to government priorities and policy initiatives.
• Help create new tools to support delivery and improve processes.
• Support and develop Homes England’s surveying professionals and industry relationships.
