Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is recruiting a seasoned Prestige Vehicle Technician / German Specialist Mechanic to join our elite workshop near Long Eaton on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.

You will perform deep diagnostic fault isolation, high-standard servicing, pre-MOT safety checks, and heavy overhauls across Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and other luxury marques.

Essential: NVQ 3 / IMI 3, 5+ years, full UK license & tools.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with prestige or German marques.
• Expert diagnostic skills and deep mechanical knowledge required.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute deep-level diagnostic fault isolation and high-standard servicing.
• Perform pre-MOT safety evaluations and heavy mechanical overhauls.
• Service a range of prestige, performance and luxury marques.
• Maintain quality standards and accurate documentation.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £32,500 – £42,500 basic per annum (DOE) + lucrative performance bonus scheme
• Hours: Monday to Friday schedule + fair rotating Saturday morning rota (08:30 – 12:00)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Prestige Vehicle Technician / German Specialist Mechanic to join our elite workshop crew. You will be responsible for executing deep-level diagnostic fault isolation, high-standard servicing, pre-MOT safety evaluations, and heavy mechanical overhauls across a diverse range of prestige, performance, and luxury marques.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (Essential).
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician / Auto Mechanic with prestige or German marques (VAG, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche).
• Expert diagnostic skills, deep mechanical knowledge, and complete confidence on modern, complex vehicle systems.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
